Founder and President
Kyle Klein is the Founder and President of Blackmark Protection, bringing more than 15 years of experience in security leadership, executive protection, physical security, and security risk management.
Throughout his career, Kyle has developed and managed complex security programs across higher education, healthcare, public sector environments, and leading technology companies, including Wealthsimple and Shopify. His background gives him a rare ability to align protection strategy with operational needs, ensuring security is not only effective, but integrated, discreet, and practical.
Kyle’s expertise spans executive protection, residential security, protective intelligence, crisis readiness, and the full security lifecycle for high net worth clients, families, organizations, and leadership teams. His approach is proactive and intelligence-driven, focused on identifying vulnerabilities early, reducing exposure, and building security frameworks that protect people, assets, privacy, and reputation.
A recognized leader in the security industry, Kyle serves as Associate Regional Vice President for ASIS Canada and holds the Certified Protection Professional designation. He is also actively involved in industry boards, committees, and community safety initiatives.
Kyle earned a business degree from Western University and a specialized certificate in Emergency Management, Threat, and Response Planning from Toronto Metropolitan University.

Jack Keslassy
Head of Protective Services
Jack Keslassy serves as Head of Protective Services at Blackmark Protection, leading the development and execution of discreet protection programs for high-profile clients, executives, private families, and individuals facing elevated risk.
With a strong background in protection operations and high-risk security environments, Jack oversees the planning, coordination, and delivery of Blackmark’s protective services. His work includes client security strategy, personnel training, operational readiness, route planning, threat mitigation, and the management of protection teams across complex assignments.
Jack brings a calm, strategic, and adaptive approach to every engagement. His leadership ensures that each protection program is tailored to the client’s lifestyle, exposure level, vulnerabilities, and daily movement, allowing security to remain effective without disrupting how clients live or operate.

His expertise spans both corporate and individual client needs, with a keen understanding of how risk manifests differently across operational landscapes.
In recent years, Jason has focused his efforts on Travel Risk Management, helping organizations protect their people, assets, and reputations in an increasingly volatile global environment. He works with corporate travel departments, risk officers, and executive teams to implement proactive risk mitigation strategies, including pre-travel planning, crisis response, medical and security evacuations, and real-time threat monitoring.
